Why Study The Apostles’ Creed?
Series: I Believe In – The Apostles’ Creed
- Have you been to a church that recited the Creed as part of their worship service? What denomination? When in the service and how often? What did you think about reciting it?
- What point in this message was most impactful for you? How did this message challenge, change, or affirm your thinking? How will you put into practice what you’ve learned today?
- Matt 28:19-20 – Explain Jesus’ command. Vs 20 is teach them to what? How important is it to know he is with you?
- John 8:31-32 – Who are true disciples of Christ and how are they rewarded?
- What is the danger of your faith or beliefs being formed through one’s emotions or own thoughts?
- Eph 4:12-13- What are the goals of the church as far as maturing believers?
- 2 Tim 3:15-16 – How important is the Word of God unto salvation? What does vs 16 say about the source of our Holy Scriptures?
- Rom 1:16 – Rom 10:9-10 – How does a person receive salvation according to these verses?
- 1 Tim 1:12 – Paul, in the most horrible circumstance, Trusts God completely even though he knows God may not fix his circumstances. How would you apply that to your daily life?
