When The Lord Is Your Shepherd
- You will have all you need.
The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. Ps 23:1
Kingdom Needs are different than worldly needs.
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. Matt 6:33
- You will have nourishment and rest.
He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. 3 He renews my strength. Ps 23:2-3a
- You will be guided along the right path.
He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Ps 23:3
- Commit to follow up front
- Fail or succeed and you will gain wisdom from obedience
- You will have protection.
Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid,
for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. Ps 23:4
Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” 6 So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear.
What can mere people do to me?” Heb 13:5-6
- You will feel gratitude and blessed.
You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies.
You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. 6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me
all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever. Ps 23:5-6
