Christians fear rejection.

Pre-Christians expect judgement.

It’s your spiritual anointing to be love to all people.

You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.   Acts 1:8

The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Gal 5:22-23

Loving The Pre-Christian

Be a friend.  Don’t treat as outsiders.

However, those the Father has given me will come to me, and I will never reject them. John 6:37

Be a servant.  (Other-Centered)

“You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them. 26 But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. 28 For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matt 20:25-28

Be God’s love with skin before telling about God’s love.

Be a story teller.  Share your story of change. (Butology)

At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now! 17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! 2 Cor 5:16-17

Be an inviter.

go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matt 28:19-20
