Freedom From Hate
Live Free To Be Free #2

Most people think their anger and hate is justified.

“You have heard that our ancestors were told, ‘You must not murder. If you commit murder, you are subject to judgment.’ 22 But I say, if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment! If you call someone an idiot, you are in danger of being brought before the court. And if you curse someone, you are in danger of the fires of hell. Matt 5:21-22

Anger and hate are choices that represent a disconnect with God.

“So if you are presenting a sacrifice at the altar in the Temple and you suddenly remember that someone has something against you, 24 leave your sacrifice there at the altar. Go and be reconciled to that person. Then come and offer your sacrifice to God. Matt 5:23-24

But now let me show you a way of life that is best of all. (Love)
1 Cor 12:31b

We are the Body of Christ and Love is the best we have to give.

But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. 28 Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you. Luke 6:27-28

Love is an action. Not taking action is disobedience.

The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore, be earnest and disciplined in your prayers. 8 Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:7-8
