Life Changing Truth: You are never truly in control.

Crisis brings us face to face with our inadequacy, and our inadequacy in turn leads us to the inexhaustible sufficiency of God. This is the power of helplessness, a principle written into the fabric of life. ~ Catherine Marshall

LEAP – Listen – Engage – Apply – Produce

That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Cor 12:10

Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. 2 Cor 12:9

Real Power is trust in the source of all strength.

Depend On God

Like a Sheep Depends on the Shepherd

  • God is everything you need. He provides.

The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. Ps 23:1

  • God comforts and gives peace, strength and confidence.

He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.  He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Psalm 23:2-3

  • Decide up front to let God lead
  • Live the Word as Truth
  • Gain wisdom through success and what seem to be failures.

3) God protects.

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. Psalm 23:4

4) God rewards the ultimate reward on earth and in heaven.

5 You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies.  You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.  6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:5-6

Get in step with God ….. He made it possible.

All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all. Isaiah 53:6
