We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. 1 John 3:16
What is important is faith expressing itself in love. Gal 5:6b
Love God and love people. Just two rules.
36 “Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?”
37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’40 The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”
Let love be your highest goal! 1 Cor 14:1
Don’t confuse love with feelings.
Love is a sacrificial attitude accompanied by action.
Believe and accept God’s love and start over.
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! 2 5:17
God’s love to us makes it possible to love.
Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. 19 We love each other because he loved us first. 1 Jon 4:18-19
The Love Check List …..
