How To Choose Peace
1) Choose peace with God through Jesus Christ.
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. John 14:6
2) Choose relational peace.
Joseph, her fiancé, was a good man and did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagement quietly. Matt 1:19
3) Choose an attitude of trusting and obeying God.
Mary responded, “I am the Lord’s servant. May everything you have said about me come true.” And then the angel left her.
4) Choose forgiveness.
Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Col 3:13
5) Choose an attitude of gratitude.
And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Eph 5:20
How is that possible?
Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. Col 2:7
