royal motorcycleDear Friends and Family of LCC,

I know what it feels like.  I can relate.  Some of you reading this are feeling overwhelmed, over-scheduled and just plumb wore out.

You took a vacation.  Some of you even went to a very relaxing place for a week or two.  You turned off your phone, your email, and all social networking.  Some got creative with your vacation time.  For weeks you took Friday’s off, maybe every once in awhile if your boss says its OK, you took Monday off also.  Yet you still feel like we are out of gas.

Here is the deal.  You don’t get wore out or depleted in a week.  You are not going to get your mojo back in a week.

I would be willing to bet, if I was a betting man, that if your are just plumb tuckered out, you are probably also feeling spiritually weak and disconnected from God.  That is how it works.

There are symptoms.  If you can’t see them, ask your spouse or someone you are close to.

Here are some symptoms:

  • Resentfulness
  • Easily Irritated
  • Short tempered
  • Angry … Angry …. and did I say angry
  • You are overeating or over something elsing….
  • You are pushing work harder and feeling less productive.
  • Fatigue
  • Scattered thinking
  • Lots more TV or social Media
  • Over spending
  • You are very susceptible to affairs in this state

Like I said … Your spouse or loved ones will notice your condition before you will.  It is epidemic in this day and time ….

How do I get out of this spiral down?  How do I get my energy back?

Here is a question for you… Are you where you want to be 1) Spiritually … 2) Relationally … 3) Professionally?

I will be teaching a four week topical study on this beginning September 8th.  Who do you know that needs to know?  Bring a friend, bring your spouse.

PS … Our SECOND ANNUAL COOKIE CHILL-OFF will be on September 8.  This is a great time to bring a friend to LCC.  There will be lots of food and a contest to see who can make the best cookie.  Sign up in the lobby to compete or to bring food for the event.  It will be at 12:30pm.

See you Sunday and bring a friend.
Thanks and God Bless.. Your Brotha from anotha motha
