royal motorcycleDear Friends and Family of LCC,

The best thing about teaching through the Bible is that you don’t skip anything.  We learn the Bible together, and we learn to see parts of the Bible in the context of the whole Word of God.  The Bible is so life changing.  I really believe that the answers to all the problems of life are in God’s Word.  The better you know God the better you do life.  As you study the Word of God and you obey, you learn to see yourself and others from God’s perspective.  You learn to be the person God desires you to be.  God wants you to be more like Jesus, and like Jesus, He wants you to live in His will.

You will never know God if you don’t know His Word.  Knowing God’s Word, being guided by the Holy Spirit, and being obedient to what you hear is how you come to know God and His will.

The hardest thing about teaching through the Bible is that you don’t skip anything.  As a pastor teacher, you are tempted to be a motivational speaker.  You know, the kind of speaker everyone likes.  You want to entertain and encourage.  Many pastors skip teachings on sin, demands from God that might seem to hard, and passages that are just hard to understand.

The Apostle Paul wrote to young Timothy;

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. 2 Tim 3:16-17

God wants us to be like Jesus.  He calls us to faith and a life of representing Him doing the work of the Kingdom.  The more we know the Words of Scripture, the Words that were written by men who were lead by the Holy Spirit, the more we are ready to do God’s work.  Life is never dull and is very rewarding when you are doing every good work of God.

I love teaching “ALL SCRIPTURE“.  I am not saying it’s easy.  There are passages that are difficult, no maybe impossible, to understand this side of Heaven.  So I teach while praying for direction from the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit uses the Holy Scriptures to change lives.  It is so wonderfully amazing to hear what God is doing in the lives of His people who are open to His instruction.

I am blessed to be a shepherd/pastor/teacher.  I am thankful God called me and I am thankful the people of Life Connection Church allow me to be God’s messenger.

I am currently teaching through the apostle Paul’s letter to the Christians of Rome.  I have heard stories almost every week of lives and hearts that are being changed.

If you are part of the LCC family, I hope to see you Sunday.

If you used to come to LCC or you are looking for a church family please consider becoming part of ours.

If you are a friend of mine and LCC and you support us with your prayers, please keep praying.  The Word of God is being taught and God is changing lives at LCC.

See you Sunday and bring a friend.
Thanks and God Bless.. Your Brotha from anotha motha
