We live in a world now where people look for the flaws in people and diminish their strengths and blame their actions on the weakness of their father’s.

We have a Father who is all knowing, all powerful, and is everywhere are all times.

Jesus told them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, because I have come to you from God. I am not here on my own, but he sent me. John 8:42

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Matt 6:9 KJV

 1)    Our Father gives us the power to do right.

1Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do.

 2)    Our Father will allow us to choose and suffer the consequences or receive the reward.

13 For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live.

 3)   Our Father will always be there to lead us.

14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27

 4)   Our Father draws us and adopts us into His family.

1So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.

 5)   Our Father is a close, loving, and personal Father.

 6)    Our Father will never abandon us.

16 For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.

And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 1 John 5:11

 7)    Our Father wants us to be like Him.  He wants us to share in the good and the bad of the family business.

17 And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.

 8)    Our Father is not everyone’s Father but He wants to be.

Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life. 1 John 5:12

But you don’t believe me because you are not my sheep. John 10:26

“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Question: Have you accepted God as your Father?

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. Romans 10:9-10
