 The Audience:  Christians in Rome who Paul had not yet been to see who were being greatly persecuted for their faith.

 I am writing to all of you in Rome who are loved by God and are called to be his own holy people.  May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.  Rom 1:7

 The Author:    Apostle Paul … It becomes obvious  that for Paul what is important  is not who he is, but whose he is.

 This letter is from Paul, a slave of Christ Jesus, chosen by God to be an apostle and sent out to preach his Good News.  Rom 1:1

 The “Romans Road” to Salvation

 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Rom 3:23

 For the wages of sin is death, Rom 6:23 a

  …but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom 6:23b

 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. Rom 10:9-10

 For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Rom 10:13
