Dear Friends and Family of LCC,
Life Connection Church was part of the first Revitalize Euless program several years ago.  When presented with the opportunity by the City of Euless we saw it as a great opportunity to be God’s love with skin…… We had 80 LCCers volunteer our first time out of the shoot. (That’s Texan talk since today is Texas Independence Day)  We have served the people of our community through this program since.  A few years ago Six Stones Missions became the point and it became Community Powered Revitalization-CPR.  The cities of Hurst and Bedford got involved along with hundreds of businesses and churches.  It is an impressive effort that pulls thousands of people and resources together to provide help and kindness to many who can not help themselves.
CPR happens twice a year in the spring and the fall.  March 23-24 is our next CPR event.  Many people take a vacation day on Friday and work hard for two days for others who can not.  LCC is blessed to have this opportunity to participate.  I hope if you are able, you will participate.  Not only is it an opportunity to be God’s love with skin, but it is a great chance to work side by side with other LCCers and get to know them better as you make a difference.  This is really what Christ’s church is all about.
CPR is working right now at putting people at houses.  As you can imagine, it is a big job to put people, talents, and resources where they need to be.  It is natural for people to wait till the last minute to sign up.  This always makes it more difficult for the people who are putting together this massive volunteer effort.  If you are going to serve, the sooner you sign up the better for the people managing the project.  You can serve on one day or both.  You can be a craftsman, or just an unskilled laborer like me.  There is a place for all of you.
If you are serving please go online and sign up as soon as you can.  It literally takes a couple of minutes.  I just did.  If you are part of the LCC family or not, come serve with us.   Bring your friends….  Be sure to put Life Connection Church in the blank for organization….

This Sunday I will be teaching the last of the four part series: “It’s Easy to Fall In Love.  It takes Work to Stay in Love.”  – Working at Having Good Fights
Conflict and fighting are a part of every relationship.  Fighting is good for a relationship if you do it right and come out of a fight better than when you went in.  That’s what we are going to be looking at this week, How to have a good fight…..
I hope to see you Sunday.  This will be a good teaching for all ages.  This will be a good teaching for anyone who has relationships with anyone else….
Bring a Friend…..
This week we will be putting down the last $35,000.00 of our down payment for our building and making our second mortgage payment.  In January and February we have hit our projected budget and we are so thankful for that.  We are about $20,000.00 short of what we hoped to have in the bank when we made our last down payment.  This will make things pretty tight with the extra expenses that have come with the move.  We are still praying for that $20,000 and for the growth of LCC.  Your giving is very important and God promises in His Word to bless you for your giving sacrifices.
Thanks to all of you for your faithfulness to God’s church at LCC  Your prayers and participation are used by God to make our ministries successful in reaching and developing followers of Christ and being God’s love with skin.  Our giving for February was up almost 100% from last February and our Sunday attendance is up 400% from last summer when we were meeting on Saturday nights.  We are reaching new people for Christ every week as new families seek to connect with God and His church through Jesus Christ and the people of LCC.  We have 50 adults meeting on Monday nights learning how to make their marriage better according to God’s Word.
I am excited about the future of the Life Connection Church Family….
Blessings from your brotha from anotha motha
