Love Chasers

Relationships will always be complicated.

Why?  Spiritual warfare.

We have been created for relationships.

We are natural born love chasers.

We do what we have to do to get our love needs met.

The Hunting mode is self pleasing pleasure seeking.

Good and Bad:  Both are hunting

                          Both are in pleasure mode.

There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death.  Prov 14:12  (Heart Hardening)

Caring Mode:  To reach the real       love mode we have

                        to transition from self-centeredness to

                        other-centeredness.

REAL LOVE:  Meeting the love needs of others.

The only way to simplify the relationship is to change the focus from seeking love from the person to seeking love from God.

People can not fill a God-sized void.

Give Up Chasing and Start Giving

The wicked borrow and never repay, but the godly are generous givers.  Ps 37:21

…you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”  Acts 20:35

Jesus Models Love Giving

We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.  1 John 3:16
