This may sound crazy to most people, but I quit a job that was pretty much slavery, the way I quit it was ,I said God, "you said you would never leave me nor forsake me" , when I said it I didn't even know where that scripture was in the bible ,I also had no money and didn't know what was going to happen to me . I heard after the fact, about taking Gods word and acting off it as though it was real was a demonstration of faith, all of a sudden everything in my life started getting a whole lot worse ,I also heard that God was going to test my faith because of that act. I have been very unsuccessful lately with trying to find a job to provide for myself and it's been like that for quite some time now. I' am down but I see some things that make me think he hasn't totally forsaking me through this trial, At the same time I see people around me every day that absolutely go through nothing to be successful ,people who don't have any relationship with God at all , and they are just fine with that, It just make me think you don't need Jesus until you die.

The movie was great! I've seen it three times already and I have to say something. Each time I watch it I like it even more.

"Awful?" ...Maybe you were watching a different movie. It certainly wasn't awful. I'll tell you what was awful. Sitting for almost 2 1/2 hours of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Now that was boring, ridiculous, and fake! I went to see Indiana Jones a week after I saw Narnia and I came out of watching Indiana as if I had wasted my entire time and money. I wouldn't even watch it if they would pay me to go see it again. They totally messed it up with this Indiana. And the other movie...Sex and the City....another awful movie.

After watching other movies in the theater during this month...I must say....Narnia is wayyyyyyyyy better than all movies combined.

the makers of Prince Caspian kept to the original story in a lot of ways, but then strayed in others... i had heard they were going to make it into a silly pure-action flick, but thankfully this was not the case

I've just finished a wonderful bag of coffee that I bought in the Dominican Republic when I was there with Compassion Australia. Sooo very nice.

In Response to todd:
Mother Teresa never once claimed to be born again (John 3:3,7)

-She didn't have to, she was already born again through baptism and she was confirmed in her faith during confirmation.

or that it is only by the grace of God through faith in Christ that one can be saved (Eph. 2:8-9).

-She always expressed that salvation is through Jesus Christ. I would encourage that you start studying her writings and see if you come to the same conclusion.

Did not Mother Teresa champion the cause of a religion that bases it “salvation” plan on works?

She nor the Catholic Church ever stated that one is saved by works. In fact our only hope is in the Mercy of Christ. Faith with out works is dead. Jesus says many times in the Gospel, if you truly love me you will do what I command. Not everyone who calls me Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven. Those who do what I command are truly my brothers and sisters. The world will know that you are truly my disciples if you love one another as I have loved you. Jesus is calling us to love our brothers and to help them in their needs. As he said, whatever you do to the least of my brothers, you do unto me. Faith is not only a belief in God, but it is also our response to God's grace.

Mother Teresa was responding to the grace of Christ and doing what Jesus commands all of us to do. She didn't have a piece of paper where she wrote every good work down in hope that she could cash it in on judgement day. Hoping to earn enough points to enter the kingdom. I encourage you to read about justification and good works from the Catechism of the Catholic Church. I would encourage you to read the entire Catechism before you make a statement on what you think Catholics believe.
