e-note to LCC
Dear Friends,
This past week was an awesome week for the testimony for LCCers being God’s love with skin.  I think the final total was 47 who showed up eager to serve at an elderly widow’s house in Euless to work hard for hours building, painting, and over a huge construction dumpster full of [...]

Do you find it harder to forgive some people than others?  There are the remorseful who obviously are sorry for whatever pain they have caused you.  For the most part these folks are the easiest to forgive…. Maybe easy is not the right word.  I guess it depends on the offense.  Maybe in your mind you [...]

Dear Friends,
St. Francis of Assisi is credited with saying, “Preach the Gospel always, and when necessary use words.”  I am not sure who said, “People don’t care how much you know, till they know how much you care.”, but it is true when it comes to sharing the Good News of Christ and [...]

There are many stories as to its actual beginnings, with over two dozen [...]

It is pretty easy to get caught up in looking at ourselves and being proud of the changes we have made in ourselves as Christian.  We study the Word of God, we go to church, we serve others when it feels right.  You notice I wrote “proud of the changes”.  It is easy to get [...]

Dear Friends,
Mother’s day, as usual, was a special and fun day at LCC.  We dedicated a dozen children to the Lord as we prayed for them and their families.  We prayed a blessing on the child and the family  and a dedication of the LCC community of faith to come along side in helping to protect and [...]

The new Chronicles of Narnia movie from the Prince Caspian book is out.  I might get to get lose to see this one in the next couple of weeks. Chattaway at www.christianitytoday.com gave it 2.5 out of 4 stars and www.pluggedinonline.com says, “Old-fashioned heroes. That’s what makes Prince Caspian tick. Chivalry. Loyalty. Honor. Duty.
